Using one with a hot wallet

Many hot wallets can connect a hardware device, so you keep the familiar app while the key stays on the device. Rabby lists Ledger, Trezor, Keystone, BitBox02, OneKey and GridPlus (source). Phantom, Solflare and MetaMask also offer hardware connections, but we have not yet verified which devices each supports (unverified); check the wallet's help centre.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a hardware wallet for memecoins?

Not for small trading amounts, which usually sit in a hot wallet for speed. It makes sense for savings you do not trade.

Is Tangem really seedless?

By default, yes: per Tangem, backup cards replace the seed phrase, and a seed phrase is optional.
