Bot safety
- Exchange bots (3Commas, Cryptohopper, Bitsgap, Pionex): create API keys with trading only and withdrawals disabled, and restrict them to the bot's IP addresses if the exchange allows it.
- Telegram bots hold a wallet key for you. Treat that wallet as a hot wallet: keep only trading money in it.
- Fake bot accounts copy names and avatars. Open bots only from the link in their official docs.
- A bot automates a strategy; it does not make it profitable. Backtests are not future results.

Frequently asked questions
Which trading bot is cheapest?
Pionex has bots built in, so you pay only its trading fee. 3Commas, Cryptohopper and Bitsgap charge subscriptions and the exchange fees apply on top. Telegram bots take a per-trade fee: Maestro 1%, Banana Gun 0.5%–1%, Trojan and BONKbot 1%.
Are trading bots safe?
They can be used safely with withdrawal-disabled API keys or a dedicated hot wallet. No bot guarantees profit.
