How to find smart money wallets on GMGN

Discover page: GMGN's smart-money and KOL lists per chain, e.g. gmgn.ai/discover?chain=sol for Solana.
Wallet detail page: open any wallet to see its PnL, win rate, holdings and recent trades before you follow it.
Wallet Radar: pick up to 10 tokens and GMGN groups the wallets that traded them into Most Bought, Highest Profit, Earliest Bought and Shared Holdings, with buttons to track or copy-trade a wallet.
Token page: the holders view flags insiders, snipers and the first 70 buyers of a token.

What to check before you follow a wallet

Look at realised profit over several weeks, not one lucky trade; the share of trades that lost money; how long it holds; and whether it buys early and sells into its followers. A wallet that only shows up on new tokens minutes after launch may be a sniper bot you cannot realistically copy.

Track wallets with alerts

After you follow a wallet, GMGN shows its new trades as notifications in the bottom-left corner of the web terminal (with an optional sound). You can also get wallet alerts in Telegram through GMGN's alert bot. Alerts let you check the token yourself before buying, which is slower than copy trading but much safer.

How to set up GMGN copy trading

Log in with Telegram (GMGN's docs say copy trading needs it) and fund your SOL wallet.
Open the wallet you want to copy and choose Copy Trade.
Pick the buy method: Fixed buy (same amount every time) or Maximum follow-buy (copy their size up to a cap you set).
Pick the sell method: auto follow-sell (sell the same proportion they sell), no follow-sell (you sell manually) or take profit / stop loss.
Set slippage, the priority fee and whether Anti-MEV is on, then start the task. GMGN allows up to 10 copy tasks.

GMGN's copy-trade doc says copying is supported on Solana. Each copied trade costs the amount + the priority fee + GMGN's 1% fee. GMGN itself warns that a high priority fee can make profitable copy trades lose money, and suggests 0.002–0.006 SOL when speed isn't critical.

Risks of copying smart money

You are their exit liquidity: when many bots copy one wallet, its buys push the price up and its sells hit followers last.
Wallets change: a wallet that did well last month can start dumping, or be sold or abandoned. Review copied wallets weekly.
Survivorship: leaderboards show winners, not the many wallets that blew up.
Fees compound: 1% per side plus priority fees on every copied buy and sell.
Rugs and honeypots: a bot copies tokens you never checked. Set hard per-trade and daily caps.
