Fake GMGN apps and links
Search ads, Telegram DMs and “GMGN support” accounts pushing their own download links are a common way to steal wallets. Type gmgn.ai yourself, follow the store links from gmgn.ai/app, and never paste a private key or recovery phrase into a site or bot you reached from a link.
GMGN app vs web vs Telegram bot
The apps and the website are GMGN's trading terminal with alerts, charts and smart-money tracking. The Telegram bots (for example @GMGN_sol_bot on Solana, @GMGN_bsc_bot on BSC and @GMGN_base_bot on Base, per GMGN's docs) trade from a bot wallet that GMGN creates for you. GMGN's docs say private keys of these bot wallets cannot be exported, so treat them as hot wallets for trading money only.
